Stations of the Cross in Lent

Confession is not always the easiest sacrament to approach and many Catholics may find themselves 'holding back'. However, whenever we do approach the Lord in this sacrament we will always find a welcome, understanding, compassion and forgiveness. There is an opportunity to make your confession before Easter when four priests will be available in church from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday 20th March. Please do come along and find peace in the sacrament of forgiveness.

Mary’s Angels parent and baby/toddler group - 1st and 3rd Monday afternoons 1.30-3pm Mum’s and children are valued members of our church family and we would like to invite them to come and join us at St. Roberts Parish Centre, Robert Street, for friendship fun and refreshments. All free! All children from 0-4 years welcome. Dads and grandparents welcome too! Sessions are on 1st and 3rd Monday afternoons of every month during term time from 1.30-3pm. Next sessions are 9th February, 2nd & 16th March, 13th & 27th April, 18th May, 1st & 22nd June, 6th July, 7th & 21st September. A new series of Sycamore, the video presentations designed to teach and guide discussion about faith, has been published and we began the series with two identical sessions in mid - January - a Wednesday morning and a Sunday evening for those who can't make during the week. This will be the pattern for future sessions.

Thank you to Marie and her team and all the young people who took part in the Children's Holiday Bible Camp this year. The focus on the Mass produced a great deal of fruit.
