Mary's Angels - Parents and Baby Toddler Group
Mum’s and children are valued members of our church family and we would like to invite them to come and join us at St. Roberts Parish Centre, Robert Street, for friendship fun and refreshments. All free! All children from 0-4 years welcome. Dads and grandparents welcome too!
Sessions are on 1st and 3rd Monday afternoons of every month during term time from 1.30-3pm. Next sessions are 5th & 19th October, 2nd & 16th November, 7th December, 4th & 18th January 2027, 1st & 15th February and 1st & 15th March . Our next Apologia session, looking at aspects of the Catholic faith, will take place for parishioners in the parish centre at 5pm on Sunday 18th October. An invited speaker, Monsignor Keith Barltrop, parish priest of St Mary of the Angels in Bayswater and former rector of Allen Hall Seminary, will lead our exploration

We were delighted to welcome 27 dogs and their families for a very special gathering celebrating the companionship, love and joy that our pets bring into our lives. Thankfully, the weather was on our side, giving us a lovely day to come together outdoors. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the service such a memorable occasion. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout, and we hope all our visitors — both two-legged and four-legged — enjoyed the day as much as we did.

The Journey in Faith group is open to seekers already attending Mass at St Robert's and who wish to be accompanied on their journey of discovery to find out what God is calling them to. The group tends to meet on a Tuesday evening a couple of times a month and, while we follow a programme of instruction, it's a relaxed
Grief is a heavy burden to carry alone. This is a relaxed, welcoming drop-in where you can talk about loss or just sit with others who understand. Volunteer hosts are here to listen, not to diagnose or advise. You’re welcome whether your loss was recent or years ago. The sessions will run fortnightly with the next one
St Robert's parishioners recently took part in the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, sharing in a wonderful spiritual journey of faith and fellowship. During the pilgrimage, many prayers were offered for our parish community at the Blessed Grotto, entrusting our intentions to the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes.
As mentioned a few weeks ago at Mass, the newly carved stone cross, which replaces the crumbling Victorian one taken down on safety grounds a couple of years' ago, was installed high above the main door of the church in the summer.
