The mens' evening will reconvene on Tuesday 24th March in the parish centre beginning with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in church at 6:30pm followed by a social in the parish centre from 7pm including a 2 course meal and drinks. A suggested contribution to costs of £10 can be given on the night.

Listening and Fasting: Lent as a Time of Conversion Lent is a time in which the Church, guided by a sense of maternal care, invites us to place the mystery of God back in the center of our lives, in order to find renewal in our faith and keep our hearts from being consumed by the anxieties and distractions of daily life. Every path towards conversion begins by allowing the word of God to touch our hearts and welcoming it with a docile spirit. There is a relationship between the word, our acceptance of it and the transformation it brings about. Confession is not always the easiest sacrament to approach and many Catholics may find themselves 'holding back'. However, whenever we do approach the Lord in this sacrament we will always find a welcome, understanding, compassion and forgiveness. There is an opportunity to make your confession before Easter when four priests will be available in church from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday 20th March. Please do come along and find peace in the sacrament of forgiveness.

Mary’s Angels parent and baby/toddler group - 1st and 3rd Monday afternoons 1.30-3pm Mum’s and children are valued members of our church family and we would like to invite them to come and join us at St. Roberts Parish Centre, Robert Street, for friendship fun and refreshments. All free! All children from 0-4 years welcome. Dads and grandparents welcome too! Sessions are on 1st and 3rd Monday afternoons of every month during term time from 1.30-3pm. Next sessions are 9th February, 2nd & 16th March, 13th & 27th April, 18th May, 1st & 22nd June, 6th July, 7th & 21st September.
