'FINDING GOD IN ALL THINGS' PRAYING WITH IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA: 12 June at The Briery, Ilkley. BRUSH UP YOUR KEYBOARD SKILLS – A WORKSHOP FOR PARISH ORGANISTS:Sunday 15 June, 2–4 pm, St Stephen’s Church, Skipton. Ben Saunders, Diocesan Director of Music, leads a workshop for those accompanying the liturgy in parishes on the organ. Each participant is invited to bring a liturgical accompaniment, hymn or piece of organ music to work on. The session will be relaxed, informal and all are welcome – observers too. THE JUBILEE OF GOVERNMENTS: Bishop Marcus will lead a Service of Thanksgiving in Leeds Cathedral for politicians and those in public life from across the Diocese of Leeds on Saturday 21st June at 2pm. If you are a Member of Parliament, a local Councillor, or former MP or Councillor, or involved in local government, you are warmly invited to attend. BLESSED SACRAMENT PROCESSION & SOLEMN VESPERS: As we continue our Jubilee ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ celebrations St Mary's Batley will be hosting a Blessed Sacrament Procession beginning in the grounds of St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy and finishing with Solemn Sung Vespers in St Mary’s Church. This will be a very special occasion where we mark this important Jubilee year. Refreshments afterwards in the school hall. All welcome. Sunday 6th July at 3.00pm.
