Welcome home to the Catholic Church

For two thousand years, the family of the Catholic Church has celebrated life and prayed for our world. We cared for the poor, started hospitals, blessed marriages and educated generations of children. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we compiled the New Testament scriptures, our beliefs rooted and founded in the Old Testament. We are the Catholic Church. With over one billion people in our family in a Church founded by Christ Himself on the rock of St Peter. 

If you are thinking about becoming a Catholic, or are simply curious about the faith, you are very welcome among us.

We encourage anyone interested in exploring the Catholic Church to begin by attending Mass regularly, allowing time to experience the prayer, worship and community life of the parish.

As you settle into parish life, please make yourself known to Fr Simon, who will arrange an informal conversation with you about your faith journey and any questions you may have.

Following this meeting, you may then be invited to join the Journey in Faith group, where, together, we explore the beliefs, traditions and spiritual life of the Catholic Church in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

If you do not feel ready to commit to regular worship, Fr Simon is willing to meet with you to answer any questions you might have about the faith.
