Visit to Ushaw College
Altar Servers and 18-30's
Our altar serving team joined with some members of the 18 to 30 group and a few parents on a visit to Ushaw College in Durham last weekend. It was a tremendous opportunity to deepen friendships and explore more about our Catholic faith. It's where Fr Simon spent 6 years training and he was able to augment the wisdom of those guiding us around the College with stories of the daily routines there. If any child who has made their first reconciliation is considering joining our team of altar servers, their parents are invited to discuss further with Fr Simon.

Grief is a heavy burden to carry alone. This is a relaxed, welcoming drop-in where you can talk about loss or just sit with others who understand. St Robert's parishioners recently took part in the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, sharing in a wonderful spiritual journey of faith and fellowship. During the pilgrimage, many prayers were offered for our parish community at the Blessed Grotto, entrusting our intentions to the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes.
