Diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes
St Robert's parishioners recently took part in the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, sharing in a wonderful spiritual journey of faith and fellowship. During the pilgrimage, many prayers were offered for our parish community at the Blessed Grotto, entrusting our intentions to the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes.

There were so many memorable moments throughout the pilgrimage. Highlights included the Blessing of the Hands, the Blessed Sacrament Procession, the Anointing of the Sick, the beautiful Torchlight Procession, the International Mass, the Reconciliation Service, inspiring catechesis sessions, the Youth-led Stations of the Cross, a visit to the Boly Mill where St Bernadette was born, the evening vigil at the Blessed Grotto, as well as quizzes and entertainment provided by the youth at the Garden Party.
During the final days of our pilgrimage, Lourdes also welcomed the excitement of the Tour de France. Although our return journey home was delayed at the airport as President Emmanuel Macron arrived by plane to attend the race. Despite the unexpected hold-up, we experienced a truly grace-filled and memorable pilgrimage.
