Call My Bluff Wine Tasting Evening

'Call My Bluff' Wine Tasting Evening

St Robert's Parish Centre, Friday 30th September at 7pm

Sign up sheet in Narthex - payment can be made via the Dona card machine in the Narthex - just click the button ‘Wine Tasting’

'Call My Bluff' was a TV panel game which many of us of a certain generation will remember well. Chaired by Robert Robinson and featuring a panel including Frank Muir, two teams would compete - one describing obscure words and the other trying to guess which panel member was telling the truth.

A distinguished (well, relatively) panel, specially chosen for the occasion will describe to us the wines that we are drinking. Only one will be telling the truth. In our teams, we will taste and decide which panel member that is.  A selection of wines will be for the tasting, both red and white.  Cheese and biscuits will be served as a complement to the alcohol.

It is strongly suggested that those taking part either walk home or take a taxi!

Places are limited so make sure you apply for your ticket at the earliest opportunity. Sign up sheet is in the narthex and payment for places, priced at £15 each, can be made via the Dona card machine, clicking the button ‘Wine Tasting’.  The evening includes a tasting of six wines and cheese and biscuits.
